Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ajanović
Muhamed Ajanovic is a Dean at School of Dental Medicine, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and also an instructor in the field of dental implantology in IFZI, Nurnberg, Germany. Previously at the same school, he was Vicedean for education, visiting clinical associate professor and chief of Prosthodontic Clinic.
From May 2008 to May 2009 he has worked at New York University, Department of Oral &Maxillofacial Pathology, Radiology and Medicine as a visiting assistant professor. He had completed undergraduate studies in 2001 and received diploma with honors for outstanding achievements in the course of studies at School of Dental Medicine, University of Sarajevo.
He completed 36-month specialization in prosthodontics and obtained MSc degree with topic “Role of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder in Origins of Temporomandibular Dysfunction”. PhD in Dental Science he defended with the dissertation “Relation of Occlusal Interferences, Signs and Symptoms of Temporomandibular Dysfunctions”.
In 2013 he completed certificate program in dental and oral implantology, including course work and supervised instruction in Germany and clinical work in Sarajevo. He has published more than 70 original scientific works and four books in field of dentistry.
